I collected too many Ikea bags over the years and the sewing machine wanted to be used again as well. The result: A cheap lo-fi Singlebag for one of my Kiteboards.
Inspired by all the great selfmade bicycle tube wallets I posted on my facebook page today, and by the fact I haven`t used my sewing-machine for a long time now, I searched for suitable material in my flat to make my own wallet. Found this old picture on my harddrive, showing a ikea stolmen setting from my old flat. That was a really useful thing. You just need a ikea stolmen pole, a plate (with a hole you have to drill) and a plastic box you also get at ikea. The nice fact about the plastic box is that I made holes in it to store cables insides which are way too long. Makes your desk clean.… weiterlesen
Simple and cheap DIY project. Based on IKEA RATIONELL VARIERA (1,49€), a lamp socket (5€) and a plastic folder (0,70€). To install the socket there`s only a simple cutter needed. The plastic folder covers the front to make the light smooth and the bulb invisible. The light is much stronger than it seems on the pictures. The following pictures are showing some more details…
